Another amazing film attracted my attention to watch it during last weekend.
The movie is kinda like previous other movies, hip hop dance mixed with other styles.
And this time, hip hop mixed with the step dance - unbelievable good!
Although no handsome guys and pretty girls, but they have gorgeous guys and bootylicious gals.
Story is telling about a young guy, DJ, a troubled youth from Los Angeles attending the historically black Truth University in Atlanta, Georgia. When adapting to his new environment proves difficult, DJ finds solace in joining a struggling fraternity where he begins implementing his street-style dance moves in an attempt to help the step team win the coveted National Step Show Championship. Before long DJ becomes the competing fraternity's main rival, while trying to pursue his new love interest, deal with his own troubled past and learn the true meanings of brotherhood and Fraternity along the way.
The film not only involves step dance and hip hop dance, but also put the high skilled performances. As I know, both of the dancers are well known choreographer in this nowadays dance/performance industry. So I felt very honoured to have the chance to watch this film.
Of course there are a few famous hip hop artists involved, such as Ne-yo, Christ Brown and others.
If you are looking and enjoying about the moves, you gotta be loved it.
